Danny wears many hats (literally) as an experienced Entrepreneur, Event Producer, Creative Director, Professional Musician, and the Founder and CEO of Timbre Group. 

Timbre provides unique lifestyle experiences and live performances at its venues, including Timbre+ One North, Timbre+ Eastside, and Timbre x S.E.A.

He founded Timbre 17 years ago based on a core vision of providing a platform for local bands and musicians to perform. Today, Timbre has grown to become the Home for Musicians, with a long-standing following for its resident bands. 

As a proponent of local music, Danny firmly believes Singapore musicians and bands need a platform to perform locally and regionally to maximise the full potential of their music and creative skills. 

Danny’s passion for music is deep-rooted. He was the bandleader of Ublues between 2005 – and 2010 and the Director of Ublues network – an Event and artiste management company before his time at Timbre. In the early 2000s, Ublues were famed for their “Get On The Blues Train,” which toured across the USA, Australia, Spain, Italy, and Asia. Ublues also represented Singapore at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, the USA, in 2003. In addition, they played with well-known musicians such as James Brown, Robert Plant, Bob Dylan, John Legend, and Buddy guy at International Music Festivals. 

He is also a program director and trainer at SMU Academy for the Advanced Certificate in Event Management and Entertainment Course.
